| For House Beautiful Magazine’s 2002 Celebrity Showcase House in Brentwood, CA, M. Design was asked to transform a bathroom from a cramped, dark space to a fun and functional one appropriate for the family’s 13 year old son. Molly Luetkemeyer created a custom wallpaper mural of a surfer riding a wave and applied it to the ceiling and all of the walls to create an exciting underwater experience. The choice of white penny round tile and white plumbing fixtures set off the mural, making the space at once feel larger and more dynamic. |
